In this two-part session, you will learn two traditional forms of counted embroidery. Drawn thread embroidery removes threads and then clusters the remaining threads in a variety of ways. Pulled threadwork uses the tension of a series of stitches to create a pattern. In the first session, you will learn to quickly design your unique three or four-band piece. You?ll learn to remove threads and cluster so that you can finish these steps before part two. In October you?ll group your clusters by tying and twisting. We will begin filling empty bands with pulled work.
