A biscornu is a small, octagonal, stuffed ornamental pincushion. It is sewn from two square sheets of cloth (forming the top and bottom of the cushion) in such a way that each corner of one square is hemmed to the middle of a side of the opposite square. Sounds confusing? It's not! JoLyn will walk you through assembly of this fun finishing project. You will need to bring two pieces of any size, but both the same size. Backstitch around them in squares of the same size. You will also need to bring the thread you used for backstitching to put them together. Questions? We'll be happy to answer!
